Grapeshot is a vigorous heavy bearing "crabpear" pear tree that tastes just like a grape! Grapeshot mother tree is disease resistant and thriving. This pear tree has a consistent and prolific drop time starting in the beginning of November and ending around the beginning of December in Mechanicsburg, PA. The deer clean these up daily, and are quite possibly the best tasting pears I have tried.

*This is a grafted tree on full standard seedling pear rootstock, chosen specifically to grow the tree as fast and large as possible. If there was a more vigorous rootstock out there, I would use it.
